About this bar
Lennon's sits on the top floor of Rosewood Bangkok, reached through a working vinyl shop with more than 6,000 records before the main room opens onto floor-to-ceiling glass and the city below. Under Director of Bars KT Lam, the current Bangkok Beats menu translates Thai street food and desserts into cocktails while a Taste of the Golden Era list keeps classics in rotation and a deep whisky library runs to rare vintage bottles. This profile covers what the room feels like, what to order, and how to book a table on Phloen Chit.

Our verdict on Lennon's in Bangkok
Lennon's earns its debut at No.8 by doing two things most hotel bars never manage: it feels like a destination rather than a lobby afterthought, and the drinks programme has a clear point of view. The vinyl shop entrance is not theatre for its own sake, you genuinely browse records before stepping into a mid-century studio of sloping glass, deco lounges, and a bar backed by one of Asia's more serious whisky walls. KT Lam's Bangkok Beats menu reads like a love letter to Thai flavours without tipping into gimmick, and the room stays warm even when every seat is taken. If you want one skyline cocktail bar in Bangkok that combines music, rare spirits, and a credible food-to-glass idea, start here.

What to expect on your first visit
Take the elevator to the 30th floor of Rosewood Bangkok on Ploen Chit Road and you arrive in the Vinyl Shop, shelves of jazz, pop, rock, and blues where you can ask the DJ to spin a title or buy a record to take home. Past the listening counter and cassette corner, the bar opens into a Great Gatsby scale room: two matching lounges flank a central counter under a vertical chandelier, floor-to-ceiling glass frames the skyline, and a spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine cigar lounge with a proper humidor. Live performances run Thursday to Sunday from 20:30 to 23:30. Smart casual dress is required, entry is restricted to guests aged 20 and above, and gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers and closed-toe shoes.

What to order at Lennon's
The Bangkok Beats menu is the place to start. The Man Do-tini rebuilds mango sticky rice with The Botanist gin, coconut oil, dried mango, marian plum, and Bianco vermouth. The Fa-d Thai Sour translates pad Thai through Wild Turkey bourbon, peanut butter, tamarind, orgeat, chives, and calamansi. Sol-Tum carries som tum's sour heat into vodka with papaya, coriander, tomato, and chili, and the Sago Re-Groni turns longan dessert into a bitter-sweet rum serve with pandan and sago. If you prefer classics, the Taste of the Golden Era list revives sazeracs, aviations, and corpse revivers, and the American whiskey section runs from the La Louisiane to the Vieux Carré with Michter's and rare vintage pours.

How the bar builds Thai flavour
Director of Bars KT Lam, who previously led DarkSide at Rosewood Hong Kong to No.9 on Asia's 50 Best Bars in 2023, has pushed Lennon's toward Thailand's own distillers and pantry ingredients rather than imported shorthand. Bar manager James Kosil Kamja, named Emerging Bartender of the Year at the Bangkok Bar Show in 2025, builds drinks that borrow from fermentation and clarification: lacto-fermented mango honey in citrus serves, clarified carrot ketchup in savoury cocktails, and in-house carbonation for punch-style drinks. The result is a menu where Thai street food nostalgia arrives as texture and acidity you can taste in one sip, not as a garnish bolted onto a generic template.

Why Lennon's debuts at No.8 in Asia for 2026
Lennon's sits at No.8 on our 2026 Asia ranking. At the Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 ceremony in Macau on 28 July, the room entered the list at No.8 and took the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award on its first appearance. The jury cited a retro whisky lounge with a new-age mantra: a room that pairs one of Southeast Asia's largest vinyl collections with a cocktails programme overseen by one of the region's most proven bar directors. Bangkok placed eight bars in the top 50 this year, and Lennon's arrival alongside established rooms such as Dry Wave and Bar Us signals that the city's hotel-bar tier is now competing with its standalone speakeasies on equal terms.
