How is the Europe ranking decided?

The same method as Asia: nominations, unannounced visits, and scores for drinks, hospitality, consistency, and sense of place. Europe and Asia are ranked separately, so a No.1 in Athens and a No.1 in Guangzhou are two different lists.

Can you browse the Europe list by city or style?

Yes. London, Barcelona, Athens, and Paris have the most European entries. Country pages such as Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom collect those city lists when you are routing a multi-city trip.

How often is the Europe ranking updated?

The ranked list publishes once a season. Between editions we update a profile when a room moves, rewrites its menu, or changes its reservation policy. A bar that closes is marked rather than quietly deleted.
